Jumo Health is a company that develops educational materials for clinical trials and other health-related materials for clients like Pfizer, Novartis, Day One, Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Caidya, Astellas, Merck, Nova Nordisk, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, Amicus, AbbVie, and many others. As the Director Of Creative Copy, I worked alongside medical writers, designers, animators, DEI leads, and strategy to develop social media, digital ads, patient recruitment materials, storybooks, activity books, interactive adherence calendars, understanding your study videos, DEI community outreach materials and more to help facilitate understanding to a wide range of audiences including patients, HCPs and community leaders. While at Jumo Health, I played a vital role in making all materials easy to understand with human and authentic voices that resonated with all audiences.

Creative Director

OrthoSynetics

I was the Creative Director at OrthoSynetics, a one-stop shop for orthodontic and dental practices across the United States. I led a team of seven graphic designers and wrote copy for numerous brands, tapping into each brand's unique vibe and voice. Then, with my incredible team, we created visual and language systems that help these practices get more leads and patients. I also helped launch OrthoSynetic's franchise orthodontic brand, Smilebliss, from the ground up. Today, Smilebliss practices include 28 locations nationwide.

I write for several agencies around the U.S., working on clients ranging from recycling and airports to tourism and cold brew coffee. I work by the hour, by project, and by retainer.

I was the lead writer on the CenturyLink account. I managed/mentored eight writers and nine designers and helped create materials for all product lines. In addition, I worked on new business pitches and other clients, such as Mellow Mushroom and Louisiana Tourism. I was also heavily involved in crafting focus group content and A/B testing materials. While at Peter Mayer, I was promoted twice.

I was a senior-level writer at Trumpet and worked on clients like Tobacco Free Living, New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, The New Orleans Hornets, New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, FutureProof, New Orleans StartUp Lab, and Southern Homes, to name a few. I also mentored a young writer while at Trumpet.

While at Grey, I worked on print, radio, out-of-home and television for BellSouth. Other clients I worked on included Nokia, Fraxel, Atlanta History Museum and AT&T. It was during this job that I learned a ton about radio and how much fun it could be.

This was my first job out of school. I was a Jr. Copywriter with a pencil, a notebook, and three great bosses who taught me a ton about direct mail, writing, and how many different ways you could fold a piece of paper. Not to mention, the true power of the presentation mock-up.
